School's Out!
It's the end of term - and we've finally managed to produce the next show. Listen out for the winner of the Year 7 Students' Choice song. Was it Kasabian, B.o.B, or The Killers? Hear Mr Rossington speak about his time at Alder. Find out more about Crewe's latest signing, Antoni Sarcevic, one of our former pupils. The final song is dedicated to Mr Bardsley, who's been signing his emails with a line from the song for the last few weeks!

So far the news team have interviewed up and coming footballer Antoni Sarcevic, a former pupil at Alder who has just joined Crewe Alexandra FC.
The presenters met with Mr Rossington for a chat before he leaves us to retire, and they will reveal the winner of the Student Choice song. Year 7s voted for either Mr Sowler's choice Kasabian, the NewGen choice B.o.B. and Hayley Williams or Mrs Derbyshire's track by 'The Killers. Who do you think won?
There's also a competition on to design a logo for the NewGen radio station - with a £10 voucher going to the winner. Get designing!!

Alder Community @ Key 103
On the 14th of May 2010, the Key 103 Media Bus came to our school, to help us set up a school radio station. First we had to decide what roles we would have. Once we finished on the bus we got to come down to Key 103 at Castle Quay and we all had an amazing time doing the task's we got set,
The Marketing group deveoloped a marketing strategy for the new school radio station and got to work on the website.
The creative team made a script and recorded different bit's out of the script. They edited the recording and made it sound exciting and realistic. They did a fantastic job with their once in a lifetime experience.
The time we spent at Key103 was brilliant and we all definately want to do it again! Lets just see what the future holds.....
